As a mom and dietitian who struggled to lose weight postpartum, I understand how confusing and frustrating this stage of life can feel.

My goal is to help you do both. We’ll work with the science of postpartum nutrition to fit your real life, not the other way around.

I’ve spent over a decade helping women reach their health goals. I worked in the weight loss field for many years, guiding thousands of people through sustainable weight loss and lifestyle change. I earned my Master’s degree in Nutrition and Public Health and have always been passionate about helping people to improve their health, energy, and confidence.

After becoming a mother myself, my focus shifted toward helping women navigate postpartum weight loss while breastfeeding. Like many moms, I assumed breastfeeding would naturally (and effortlessly) help the weight fall off. Everyone said that’s what would happen! 

Instead, I experienced the same struggles many women face:

  • Stubborn weight

  • Constant hunger

  • Exhaustion

  • Fear that trying to lose weight might reduce my milk supply

Following my second pregnancy, I found myself more than 50 pounds above my pre-pregnancy weight. I felt frustrated, discouraged, and disconnected from my body. 

Hearing stories about moms who effortlessly lost the baby weight only made the experience more discouraging. Between baby feedings, toddler chaos, and sleepless nights, I began applying everything I knew about metabolism, weight loss resistance, and nutrition to the realities of motherhood.

That process led me to develop an approach to postpartum weight loss that protects milk supply, stabilizes blood sugar, and supports a mother’s physical and emotional wellbeing. 

The result was a sustainable approach that finally worked for me and has since helped thousands of other women achieve safe postpartum weight loss while breastfeeding.

Today, through Postpartum Weight Loss RD, I’ve helped more than 4,000 women lose weight after pregnancy, regain confidence in their bodies, and build a healthier relationship with food. 

MY MISSION IS TO BREAK THE MYTH THAT BREASTFEEDING MOMS HAVE TO CHOOSE BETWEEN WEIGHT LOSS AND MAINTAINING MILK SUPPLY.

Taylor Booher, RD

Taylor has been a Registered Dietitian since 2017 and is passionate about helping women build a healthier relationship with food, movement, and themselves. 

TAYLOR’S APPROACH:

  • Personalized weight management

  • One-on-one nutrition counseling

  • Women’s health-forward, with a special interest in supporting women through pregnancy and postpartum. 

In addition to being a registered dietitian, Taylor is a certified personal trainer with advanced training in pre- and postnatal exercise, allowing her to combine both nutrition and fitness guidance when working with clients. 

As a new mom herself, Taylor understands the challenges of balancing personal health with the demands of motherhood. She loves helping women find realistic, sustainable ways to nourish their bodies, increase energy, and support healthy postpartum weight loss.

Darby Horton, RD

Darby is a Registered Dietitian with more than six years of experience helping women navigate weight loss and health goals. 

As a mom of two, she understands firsthand the emotional and physical changes that come with pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and motherhood. Darby is passionate about helping women approach postpartum weight loss with both compassion and confidence.
