Are you pregnant or postpartum? I’ve been both. Twice. But before I became a mother, I was a registered dietitian specializing in weight loss. I spent a decade working for a big time weight loss company, serving thousands in their journey toward pounds lost and energy found. 


I’ve always been passionate about helping people reach their goals and live a healthier life (Just ask my Masters Degree in Nutrition and Public Health) so this career path was a natural choice. Fourteen years later, I still love the science of nutrition, but now I’m obsessed with applying my knowledge to help postpartum moms, just like you, lose weight. And it all comes back to my own postpartum weight loss story.

After having my second child, I didn’t recognize myself in the mirror. I was 50 pounds heavier than I felt on the inside. I was frustrated, confused, and annoyed. The stories of other postpartum women—the ones who effortlessly lose their pre-baby weight within a few months—were difficult to hear. Why wasn’t this happening for me?

Between baby feedings and toddler tantrums, I focused on figuring out how to lose weight while breastfeeding.

I applied what I knew about weight loss resistance to the nutritional needs of a breastfeeding mother with consideration for the mental load of motherhood. I knew a successful postpartum weight loss approach couldn’t just fit the science—it had to fit the lifestyle of a new mom.

Meet The Team


Hi, I’m Taylor!

I’ve been a Registered Dietitian since 2017 and love helping people build a healthier relationship with food, movement, and themselves.

My work focuses on weight management, 1:1 counseling, and women’s health, with a special passion for supporting women through pregnancy and postpartum. In addition to being an RD, I’m a certified personal trainer with advanced training in pre- and postnatal exercise, which allows me to blend both nutrition and fitness when working with clients.

Outside of work, life is full and fun with my baby boy, Eli, and our two pups, Brody and Maverick. As a new mom myself, I understand how challenging it can be to juggle it all, and I love encouraging clients to find realistic, sustainable ways to take care of themselves in every season of life.

Hi, I’m Megan Brister, MS, RD.

I’ve been a Registered Dietitian for 14 years and am the founder of Postpartum Weight Loss RD, where I specialize in helping breastfeeding moms lose postpartum fat without compromising their milk supply.

I work with women who feel frustrated, stuck, or told they have to choose between weight loss and successful breastfeeding—because that simply isn’t true.

I’m also a mom of two boys, ages 5 and 3, and I understand firsthand how challenging postpartum weight loss can be while breastfeeding. After struggling to lose weight following my first pregnancy, I went on to lose over 50 pounds after my second by creating an approach that finally worked when nothing else did. That personal journey became the foundation of the method I use today.

Since founding Postpartum Weight Loss RD, I’ve refined this approach and helped over 4,000 women lose weight while breastfeeding, rebuild confidence in their bodies, and feel at home in themselves again. My mission is to break the myth that weight loss and breastfeeding can’t coexist and to give moms a clear, supportive path forward.

I’m a Registered Dietitian with six years of experience in weight loss. I’m also a mom of two and am passionate about helping women navigate the ups and downs of postpartum weight loss with grace and confidence.

After walking through my own journey of healing, body changes, and motherhood, I bring both expertise and empathy to my work. With a warm, approachable style, I empower moms to nourish their bodies, rebuild their confidence, and feel at home in themselves again.
